English Language Arts:
Writing: Book 2, Narrative 1:
Lesson 1, Introducing Narrative
Literature: This week we will
begin reading our next Classic to Keep, King Arthur! In Poetry we will continue
learning “Lochinvar.”
Math: This week scholars will be
introduced to prime and composite numbers, multiples, and begin to multiply 2-digit
numbers by 1-digit numbers.
History: In History this week, scholars will begin
to learn about the fall of the Western Roman Empire, and will start a new unit
focusing on Medieval Europe as they also begin to read King Arthur in
Literature.
Science: This week in Science, scholars will
learn about the causes and effects of waves. They will also begin to learn
about the different types of waves starting with the waves in water.
